dc.description.abstractEste artículo pretende un acercamiento al concepto de memoria histórica, cómo surge y se desarrolla históricamente a partir de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, además de evidenciar el viraje que produjo la memoria en el campo de la historiografía y en el ámbito político. También busca entender por qué son importantes en la actualidad los procesos de reconstrucción de la memoria histórica y los dilemas político-ideológicos y epistemológicos que presenta, y su relación con el problema de la verdad (jurídica e histórica), entendida durante mucho tiempo con el esquema sujeto-objeto. La investigación es de un enfoque hermenéutico-analítico de las fuentes bibliográficas. A partir de allí, se examina el problema de la verdad en la memoria histórica, y las diferencias entre verdad jurídica y la verdad histórica que confluyen en los proyectos de memoria histórica. La memoria histórica es importante en las sociedades contemporáneas que advierten en los procesos de construcción de la memoria, por acontecimientos a las vulneraciones de los derechos humanos y a la dignidad humana, un potencial para la reconciliación, pacificación y las reivindicaciones de las víctimas, mediante la tutela del derecho a la verdad, a la justicia, a la reparación y a las garantías de no repetición.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe aim of this paper is to provide a review of the concept of historical memory, how it arose and developed historically since World War II, as well as to highlight the shift caused by the concept of memory in the field of historiography and in the political arena. It also seeks to understand why the reconstruction of historical memory processes and political-ideological and epistemological dilemmas posed by them are relevant today, as well as their relationship with the issue of truth (both legal and historical), long understood using the subject-object schema. The research uses a hermeneutic-analytic approach to the analysis of bibliographic sources. From these sources, the study examines the issue of truth in historical memory, as well as the differences between legal truth and historical truth that converge in historical memory projects. Historical memory is important in contemporary societies, which see in memory building processes, linked to violations of human rights and human dignity, a potential for reconciliation, pacification and restitution for victims, through the protection of the right to truth, justice, reparation and non-repetition.en
