dc.description.abstractLa violencia psicológica en las relaciones de noviazgo es un método de sometimiento de una persona a otra que se naturaliza al relacionar la violencia con lo físico, ignorando las afectaciones a la salud mental. Por ello, el objetivo principal de este estudio fue describir la violencia psicológica en las relaciones de pareja en estudiantes universitarios jóvenes de la ciudad de Quibdó. Este se desarrolla bajo una metodología cuantitativa mediante la aplicación de Escala de Violencia en las Relaciones de Pareja Adolescentes (CADRI), donde se toman los componentes asociados a la violencia psicológica: violencia relacional, verbal-emocional y la amenaza. La muestra estuvo conformada por 240 estudiantes universitarios, de los cuales 130 corresponden a la Uniclaretiana (universidad privada) y 110 a la Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó Diego Luis Córdoba (universidad pública). Los resultados demuestran que el tipo de violencia que más predomina en los estudiantes universitarios es la violencia verbal-emocional, y las mujeres son las más propensas a ejercerla y a sufrirla en las relaciones de noviazgo. Otro aspecto relevante de los hallazgos es que un porcentaje mayor de violencia sufrida y vivenciada se encontró en estudiantes de la universidad privada, con excepción de la violencia relacional sufrida.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishPsychological violence in romantic relationships is a method of subjection of one person to another that is naturalized by relating violence to the physicality of the body, ignoring its effects on mental health. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to describe psychological violence in the relationships of young university students in the city of Quibdó. The methodology of the study is quantitative, a Scale of Violence in Adolescent Relationships (CADRI) was applied to measure the components associated with psychological violence: relational, verbal-emotional violence and threat. The sample was made up of 240 university students, of which 130 were students from Uniclaretiana (private university) and 110 from Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó Diego Luis Córdoba (public university). The results evidenced that the most predominant type of violence among university students is the verbal-emotional violence, and women are the most likely to exercise it and suffer it within relationships. Another relevant finding is that private university students suffer and experience violence in a higher percentage, excluding the relational violence suffered.en
