dc.description.abstractEste trabajo analiza el papel de la gerencia social en un contexto de volatilidad, incertidumbre, complejidad y ambigüedad, propio de la época actual, pero a su vez, subsidiario del modelo económico imperante, y los efectos derivados por la pandemia del COVID-19 a escala nacional. Parte de una propuesta conceptual integrativa sobre la administración social, se avanza en la revisión de los fundamentos de esta, a fin de valorar su capacidad de respuesta frente a los desafíos socioinstitucionales que la pandemia planteó al ejercicio de los gestores sociales dentro de dicho período. Para lograr el propósito, se procedió con una revisión de la literatura, a través de bases de datos de tipo académico y repositorios institucionales de organismos multilaterales, donde la gerencia social, aceleración social y lógicas de capital constituyeron el corpus teórico de la reflexión. Los hallazgos más importantes dan cuenta de la necesidad de considerar a la gestión social, más allá de un modelo de administración vinculado con la garantía, acceso y promoción de derechos fundamentales, para resaltar su noción como campo de saber multidisciplinar cuyas actualizaciones, además de considerar lo epistemológico, dan valor al contexto, vía adaptación y ajuste de este mecanismo institucional.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work analyzes the role of social management in the context of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity, which is typical of the current era, but is, at the same time, a consequence of the prevailing economic model. Likewise, it analyzes the effects derived from the COVID-19 pandemic on a national scale. It is based on an integrative conceptual proposal of social management and reviews its foundations in order to assess its capacity to respond to the socio-institutional challenges that the pandemic had posed to social managers during the period of the health emergency. To achieve the purpose, a literature review was conducted with documents obtained from academic databases and institutional repositories of multilateral organizations. The theoretical corpus of the research was made up of documents related to social management, social acceleration and capital logic. The most important findings reveal the need to consider social management not only as an management model linked to the guarantee, access and promotion of fundamental rights, but as a multidisciplinary field of knowledge. This field has been updated not only to consider epistemological aspects but also to give value to the context, via adaptation and adjustment of this institutional mechanism.en
