dc.description.abstractEl reciente acuerdo nuclear firmado por Estados Unidos e Irán ha sido el centro de la controversia internacional, debido a que suscita inquietudes por la laxitud del mismo. Según fuentes especializadas, el acuerdo no elimina la posibilidad de Irán de producir uranio enriquecido, elemento principal para la creación de una bomba atómica, que se cierne como una amenaza latente para el Estado de Israel, quien, además, debe afrontar amenazas de índole religiosa, social y política. A partir de la Teoría realista de las Relaciones Internacionales, se busca probar cómo en el escenario geopolítico internacional priman los intereses de cada Estado y cómo en este caso el desarrollo y perfeccionamiento de la tecnología nuclear se convierte en una amenaza latente, no solo para el Estado de Israel sino para toda la civilización. Será posible encontrar una relación directa entre los intereses particulares de un Estado a nivel político y cómo factores tan importantes como la religión y la geografía inciden de manera crucial en dichas dinámicas.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe nuclear deal recently signed by the United States and Iran has sparked international controversy, raising concerns related to its laxity. According to recognised sources, the agreement does not prevent Iran from producing enriched uranium, the main material used to create an atomic bomb, which looms as a latent threat to Israel, a state that must also face religious, social and political threats. Relying on the realist theory of international relations, the paper seeks to show that the interests of each state prevail in the international geopolitical scenario. Also, it attempts to show how, in this particular case, the development and improvement of nuclear technology becomes a latent threat, not only for the state of Israel but for the whole civilization. It is argued that a direct relationship can be found between the particular political interests of a state and the crucial influence that factors as important as religion and geography have on these dynamics.eng
